What are you really proud of as a mom?

I personally am proud of my ability to stay patient 99% of the time with DD, and I am really proud of her and the milestones she has reached. I am also really proud of my weight loss. I still have about 20-30lbs to go, but since birth I have lost 45lbs (35 of which was from pregnancy)!

I'm proud that I know what's best for my two and I rarely let outside people (mom, Mil) tell me otherwise.

I'm proud of how much A and I come together as parents. We argue about everything else!

I am proud of the way I handled the sleep deprivation. She is mostly STTN now, with the occasional wake-up for her paci, but when I was getting up with her three and four (and sometimes not sleeping at all) times a night, I did surprisingly well.

I'm proud of how DH and I, as a couple, have handled being new parents. We've got the teamwork thing pretty well down, and truly share baby responsibilities equally. New babies are hard, but I'm proud of how well we work together. I love a feel-good thread

I am proud of DS! :-) he is thriving.

I am proud that he is almost 9 months and I am still BF. I tell people, it is the hardest thing I have ever done.

I'm proud of showering my kid with affection. I don't recall many hugs, kisses, and "I love you's" as a kid and it's now one of my favorite parts of being a mom. I'm proud that I listen to my gut and do what I feel is best for her rather than listening to what others may chime in with. I'm also proud of what a fantastic little kid she is right now; for those not on the FB group this kid is hilarious.

I'm proud of how well I've balanced being a mom, wife and employee. It hasn't been easy, but I feel like I've really excelled in my job and I know that my kid is well loved. H and I have also paid off two student loans and all credit card debt in the past ten months, on top of having the added expense of DC.

Also, my kid isn't a good sleeper. He woke up at least 2-3 times a night until recently. Due to illness and then weight loss/no weight gain over two months, I had to feed him when he was hungry, so even if I wanted to sleep train, I couldn't. And until he was 6 months, i would pump 2-3 times a night bc i dont pump well at work and i wanted him to be ebf for 6 months. I always thought I needed 8-9 hours to survive, but I was able to juggle it all with 3-6 wake ups a night. I don't know. It's kind of cool to push yourself mentally and emotionally and see what you can do.

I'm proud of being just a little "crunchy." I breast feed, cloth diaper, and make my own baby food because I think it's best for my kids (and bank account). I'm proud of the personality Lucy isn't afraid to show even if we need to rein it in a little. I'm proud I'm not divorced (becoming parents is incredibly trying).

I am proud of how easily DH and I adapted to L being born with club feet.  It wasn't easy to watch our child go through PT and casts/braces for 8 full months of his life.  He still wears them at night and will until he is 4 years old.  However, we do not know any different, and we are proud of how far L has come with his feet.  

I am proud of L's personality.  He is a hilarious little man with a big heart.  I only hope to continue to be able to encourage his awesomeness.

I'm proud that my kids are happy and being well provided for.
Also I feel like we must be doing a decent job because they are (fairly) well behaved and still like us.

I'm proud of the little independent 4 year old that Lexi has become. She is also so compassionate and caring.

I'm proud that throughout all our issues, DH and I were able to survive a breakup (when Lexi was 2 1/2 years old) and be able to work on ourselves enough to get married and parent Lexi together.

I'm proud of the decision I made to put her into daycare when I did. She has learned and thrived so much. She is even advanced in some areas of her learning.
